The Government Fatima Jinnah Women Hospital in Multan, established in 2007, was dedicated to providing specialized maternal and child healthcare services. In 2017, it merged with the Government Shahbaz Sharif Hospital and the Civil Hospital to form the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Multan, enhancing healthcare delivery in the region. ​
 

Facilities and Services 

Post-merger, the DHQ Hospital Multan offers a range of services:​ 
  • Bed Capacity: Initially 181 beds, adjusted to 160 in 2023 due to space constraints. ​
  • Departments: 15 specialized departments, including Dialysis Unit and Pediatric Nursery. ​
  • Emergency Services: Three emergency units across campuses, providing 24/7 services.​
  • Specialized Care: The Fatima Jinnah campus continues to focus on maternal and child healthcare. ​
  • Medical Equipment: Installation of new fluoroscopy equipment in the Operating Theater and a fully functional laser section in the eye department.​
  • Staffing: Over 500 staff members, including doctors, nurses, and non-clinical personnel, serving more than 2,000 patients daily.​
